The Lucid Arts Project is a hosted web application that enables artists to create and manage their own websites. They can upload works, create online galleries (collections of works), and sell works without the need for your own merchant bank account.
The website is designed to be a simple and elegant tool with advanced functionality for creating and maintaining beautiful online web galleries and portfolios.
It is free to sign-up and paid plans start at NZ$20 per month for up to 25 works. There is also a free plan that allows up to five works and lets artists really get a feel for how the system works. It is also perfect for those who want a presence on the internet but can’t afford the bigger plans or don’t need the extra features. Users can sign-up for any plans for a 30-day free trial.
We are in the early stages and are very open to feedback and suggestions on how we can extend and improve the system.
