Mobtropolis is a social photo scavenger hunt that helps people discover interesting things in the world around them and makes it easy to share their exploits.
The basic mechanics are simple. One can look for mob scenes to do under a specific theme and topic. These can be anything from “Eat a New York thin crust pizza” to “Hug a policeman”. Next, one goes out and does the scene, and take a picture as proof with their digital camera or camera phone. Then, one submits the photo back to Mobtropolis, which posts the photo on the site and sends a copy of the photo to friends that voted for the scene.
