Lincoln Park in North Dartmouth Mass was one of southeastern new englands ‘local’ amusement parks. when it came under new management (mis management) in the mid 1980’s things financially fell apart. The small town feel was gone and patrons were not showing up. Since then the park and its Vernon Keenan designed roller coaster, The Comet, have lain siletnt and slowly deterirating. This site explores many aspects, history, the good days and the eventual demise. We’ve tried to document as much as possible, photos memorobelia and such, from just about anywhere along the line of the parks 90 year history
